a.Ensure that all power cable in a computer are connected .
b.turn on the CPU by pressing the ON or POWER button on the casing.
c.turn on the monitor by pressing the ON or POWER button on the monitor.
d.whait until the booting procedure is finished, which is shown by the desktop appearance on the monitor screen .
2.if the computer crashes or hangs or can't be shut down throught standard procedure, use the reset button to restart the computer.
3.a. by using shortcuts on thr dekstop
a shortcut is usually created on the desktop when in staling a shoftware. we can open an application easily by using this shortcut. just duoble clik the application shortcut that we want to run.
b. by using start menu.
Start menu contain shortcuts to all installed software in the computer. there are two ways to acces an application from Start menu:
~Start menu > ALL Program >Applicatin Folder >click on the application.
~Start Menu > Type the applicatin name in the Start Search column and prees Enter.
c.By using the related document.
Windows Vista will automatically run the related application to open a document file by double clicking the file. for instance, word document file wiil run the microsoft office word application , while excel document will autonatically run the microsoft office excel.
4.word prossesor is software for documenting letters,books,reports,thesis,work papers.etc.for example , microsoft office 2007, open office,org,and abiword.
